Our Story
From humble beginnings with a small manual coffee roaster and just 50 kilograms of green coffee beans, Domba Coffee was founded in 1998 by Charles Huang. Having built his early career in the tourism industry, Huang recognized the opportunity to introduce high-quality Indonesian coffee to visitors from around the world. Driven by this vision, he began roasting coffee beans at home and selling small batches directly to his guests, quickly earning praise for the rich flavors and artisan quality of his coffee.
As demand grew, Huang invested in a plot of land in Nusa Dua, Bali, establishing the first Domba Coffee facility. From the outset, the business was built on strong community values, employing local residents and fostering a collaborative work environment that would become central to the brand’s identity.
After seven years of dedicated in-house roasting and steady growth, Domba Coffee expanded into a larger operation in Kuta, Bali, where it continues to thrive today.
Currently situated in the heart of Kuta, Domba Coffee operates a 2,300-square-meter production facility, with a monthly capacity of up to 20 tons. The company remains committed to working hand-in-hand with local communities, supporting sustainable practices and fair employment.
Now a thriving medium-sized enterprise with over two decades of expertise, Domba Coffee has diversified its offerings beyond coffee to include premium tea and cocoa products. The company also provides consulting services for aspiring coffee entrepreneurs and supplies custom coffee blends and high-quality products to hotels, restaurants, and cafés both across Indonesia and internationally.
With an enduring passion for quality and innovation, Domba Coffee continues its mission to share exceptional Indonesian coffee and beverage experiences with the world.
